The only real Question to ask yourself as Clint Eastwood said is “Do you feel Lucky”? Do you feel Lucky to be on Social Media, Liking or Tweeting away or are you only doing it because you feel you have to? These are must see Videos on Social Media presence that raise Interesting Questions for you too consider.

These 2 videos of note I came across this week, raise the Interesting question, do you worry about your Social media and what people may think of you if you don’t “conform”?

It seems contradictory when we are going all out too engage with our friends and other people on Social Media in all its forms, to have to stop and think if this is good, or, are we worrying too much about not being liked or appearing “Cool” enough.

The author is asking big questions. I certainly don’t know the answer or answers, but the second video is also interesting as Dr Cal Newport suggests you would be better off by quitting Social Media. An unbearable thought? Take a look and see what YOU think.

So, is Social Media becoming too addictive? Are we hooked? – Big questions. Is there a cure? Do we need a cure? Are there Negative effects of Social Media on Society?

I also found an Interesting report by the Pew Research org, which talks about the benefits of Social Media in the lives of people from emerging Nations – and – their big concerns. Are we similar?

Read the Pew Research report HERE.

Conclusion

What about you? Food for thought here. We all want engagement and too be liked on our Social Media. But maybe, let’s not spend too much time and neglect actually talking too our friends and family. Let’s think about the Videos and (tongue in cheek), share this with your friends if you found this interesting and see what they think.

No deep analysis in this post, there are a lot of general questions and concerns out there. Just raising your awareness so we can think positively about ourselves and other people. We may have a message to say – but let’s think how we can it across without overstepping the mark.

Until next time

All the best
