Here are the marketing trends for 2020
1. Multi-channel content strategies.
Think about all the devices used daily: smartphones, smart-watches, tablets, Laptops and then platforms such as Facebook, Youtube, and Linkedin.
Different users use different platforms in varied ways and expect a tailored experience on each. You need to consider this on their journey.
Copy & pasting blog articles will not suffice anymore. You have to check your content fits the platform and the user.
2. Collaborators and Brand Partners.
There is no point in being a one-man army any more. A Strategic partnership between a complementary brand, is a profitable marketing technique.
Brand and products can be offered together, creating a strong value proposition for all. We all know, the biggest Influencer is probably not the best for you.
3. What to use instead of Text.
Use more visual content to compensate for shorter attention spans. You only have a few seconds to get the users eye before they scroll away.
Using Visuals will definitely help you keep hold of your reader’s attention longer, maybe long enough to turn them into converting customers.

One study showed that including a video on a landing page increased conversions by 86%. So this is one of the best Content Marketing Practices to employ.
There are numerous types of videos: How-to videos, Animated Explainer demonstrations or Customer Testimonials. Whatever your choice, it’s important that the videos fit the overall style of your brand.
A recent study by Moz shows that posts with videos receive nearly 300% more inbound links, so make sure your video is of the highest caliber, as it can become the chief representation of your brand in the digital realm.
Creating your own meme is a great way to set yourself apart from your competitors, although you should determine if memes are APPROPRIATE for your niche and whether they will gain actual engagement with your audience. If your brand fits a younger group, then there is your answer.
Also, a screen-shot, gives your audience with a glimpse into the inner workings of your service. You can show a direct perspective here.

He says maybe controversially for some, his research indicates that people no longer move systematically through “The Funnel” and also his research identified there is no ‘Best Time’ or Best ‘Day’ anymore, except for the obvious things etc.
A learning point for Marketers: Frank Cespedes noted that his data overwhelmingly showed, that Case Studies have the biggest impact and people want content that shows other people using the product or benefiting from the service being talked about
